Continued investment in the very latest pressroom technology and a no compromise approach when it comes to the quality of all the materials we use, ensures that we constantly provide our customers with the very highest standard of print. When choosing the best presses and papers, our clients are opting for quality and not second best.

To complement this, we are continually reviewing our ISO Procedures to ensure standards are maintained and surpassed and as a good example of this, we recently introduced a new system of checks to specifically monitor the quality of every job we print.

This daily activity is performed by a team of qualified individuals, tasked with scanning through every magazine, catalogue and brochure, page by page, and scoring them accordingly. The areas that are graded are the quality of printing, finishing, folding and overall cleanliness of work produced. These scores are then passed on to the Production Management Team to discuss and evaluate to ensure that all the work that leaves S&G is of the highest quality.

This is all in addition to the checks already undertaken by the production staff, but with the peace and quiet of their surroundings, this tends to be a more critical exercise, more critical than our customers would realise. Crucially we believe that this is now playing a vital role and helping to drive our standards up even further.
